hey, i know we had briefly discussed making these characters cousins. i was going to see if you were still down for that? if so, have you figured out specifics of her mother's history or anything? i was thinking that their mothers would be sisters. adel and her sister nat (~nogrove) hail from boston which is why i was asking. i was just trying to piece together in my mind how their mother ended up there. also, their mothers would have been complete opposites and yet not. from what i recall you saying about van's mother, they'd both be kind of flighty and not the best in parental figures. adel's mother was in over her head financially though and so i can't really see her or the girls traveling to visit anytime or if they did, not very often at all. so it would probably be our characters getting closer later in life or something?
